The Luštica Peninsula brings together the sea, hills, and olive groves to form a landscape full of tranquility and Mediterranean ease.

Our four accommodations — House Tici, Villa Viktoria, Casa Austria, and the Master Apartment in the Tower — are all located on the peninsula, nestled between olive groves, hills, and the sea.
Here you can find their locations on Google Maps:

The peninsula is still far from overdeveloped and has preserved its original character.
Only in recent years have more travelers discovered the unique charm of this landscape: unspoiled bays, excellent water quality, and the warmth of the local people who, with their olive groves, shape its Mediterranean identity.

Luštica offers numerous beaches — many of them accessible only by boat.
Our local beach is Žanjice, with the smaller bay Mirište right next to it — both featuring clear pebble shores, good restaurants, and small bars directly by the water.
Nearby, you’ll also find Forte Rose (3 km) as well as the beaches of Žanjice and Mirište (approx. 5–7 km).

From Mrkovi or Rose, you can take boat trips to the Blue Cave (Plava Špilja) or visit the old submarine tunnels. Along the coast, you’ll find two historic fortifications from the Austro-Hungarian era — relics of a turbulent past.
Rose itself, a charming fishing village with small taverns and a coastal fort, is also well worth a visit. From there, a local boat runs across the bay to Herceg Novi, where you can explore the fortress and the old town.
Also recommended: a day trip to Tivat (approx. 20 km, Porto Montenegro and shopping), Kotor (approx. 25 km, old town and city walls), or Budva (approx. 35 km, historic old town and beaches).
If you follow the fjord, you’ll reach Perast and other historic villages — with excellent seafood restaurants such as „Stari Mlini“.
Excursions into the mountains to visit old monasteries or to climb Mount Lovćen (1,749 m) are equally worthwhile. Or try a rafting tour on the Tara River — which has carved the second-largest canyon in the world.

You can shop at the supermarket by the beach or in the nearby villages of Krašići and Radovići. The nearest larger town is Tivat (approx. 22 km), known for its marina, Porto Montenegro.
Kotor, with its historic old town and impressive city walls, as well as Budva, with its charming historic center, are also easily reached by car.
For a full-day excursion, even a trip to the capital Podgorica is worthwhile.
Luštica lies away from the hustle and bustle — here, you experience the Adriatic in its most authentic form. Our housekeepers are happy to share tips for excursions, restaurants, and special places that don’t appear in any guidebook.
